Onírica: um Natal dos sonhos

exhibition in Casa Park shopping
(specialized furniture and design shopping mall in Brasilia)

executive production and creative assistant

I played a dual role as both a creative team member and executive producer, overseeing team management and ensuring collaboration and adherence to schedules. A distinctive aspect of our project was our commitment to sourcing local suppliers and fostering a team comprised of 90% women. Despite facing challenges such as limited working hours, restricted to nighttime due to the nature of the venue being a shopping mall, we persevered. Working without natural light and irregular sleep patterns posed additional hurdles, but our dedication and adaptability ultimately led to the successful execution of the project.

my role

Casapark kicked off the holiday festivities with the unveiling of a Christmas installation created by scenographer, art director, and trend researcher Michell Lott (@lottlott). Titled "Onírica – A Dreamy Christmas," the installation features objects, fabrics, furniture, and landscaping crafted in collaboration with artisans, carpenters, and designers from Brasília to fashion a fun and interactive environment that stimulates creativity and human reconnection.

For the art director and scenographer, Christmas is a time for reflection but also magic. "I like to associate Christmas with a time of enchantment, celebrating ourselves and others, the lights, the sparkle," he comments. In "Onírica – A Dreamy Christmas," Michel Lott proposes a journey toward a dreamlike moment detached from reality to encourage creative thinking akin to that of children.

ONÍRICA, a dreamy Christmas - as its literal translation - is a tribute to the enchantment of Christmas. The colors and history of Brasília and its surroundings inspired this fantastical world envisioned by Michell Lott.

o celebrate the arrival of the holiday season with vibrant colors, sparkle, lights, textures, and nods to the Cerrado biome and Brasília, the scenographer and art director crafted an interactive masterpiece to adorn the shopping mall's Central Plaza, inspiring the public to dream and reconnect. The day after the unveiling, a lecture will be held to discuss color trends for 2023.
